Our Story​

We are a group of friends and family who run in loving memory of Robert Hauter Myslik, a man we lost too soon.  He was a talented and vibrant teacher, coach and creative energy who's gifts extended all around him, whether he was coaching soccer, teaching High School students to write and to think, or spending copious amounts of time with family and friends.  He was always seeking an adventure and creating meaning in his life and the lives of those around him.  We run to remember that spirit.​

We hope to continue our mission to do what Rob did best: inspire people to reach higher than they knew they could.  Rob had an incredible gift for bringing out the best in his students (indeed, in everyone around him), and through his scholarship fund, we hope that his spirit will continue to urge people to find potential and resources that enable them to improve their lives.​
